About Us
George and Betty
Bloodworth have been children's photographers for over thirty
years and have given seminars and taught classes for Winona (PPA
School) as well as many other types of sharing of their knowledge.
Several years ago,
they saw the need for a Children's Organization that would network
children's photographers for the purpose of sharing ideas and
promotions with each other. Thus, Children Photographers International
was formed in May 1999 and used many of the ideas of Senior Photographers
International with the permission of Terry and Sue Harris.
As an encouragement
to share information, studio zip codes are protected. In addition
to newsletters with helpful information that can be added to a
yearly notebook, a convention is held each year in Nashville, Tennessee
with speakers who are successful photographers, many
of whom have not been on the speaker circuit to the point of repetition,
and includes topnotch entertainment, Nashville style, and laced
with Southern Hospitality, and genuine fellowship.
